Tampa is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Tampa follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I’m someone who reads reviews and does my homework, especially when it comes to something as important—and potentially expensive—as transmission work. Before bringing in my 2013 Ford F-150, I did my due diligence, compared prices, researched the symptoms, and got a pretty good idea of what the problem might be. Everything was pointing toward the lead frame in the transmission. I decided to take my truck to Jeff’s Transmission largely because of the reviews, and so far, I’m very glad I did. After looking at the truck, they agreed that the lead frame appeared to be the issue. They gave me a fair quote—less than what I would have paid at the dealership, although price alone wasn’t what made my decision. I wanted a transmission shop with a solid reputation and people I could feel comfortable trusting with my truck. What impressed me most was the service and turnaround time. I dropped my truck off, and they had it repaired and back to me within a day. There was no unnecessary runaround or drawn-out process. I’m now one week into driving the truck after the repair, and it is running smooth as butter—not even a hiccup. I couldn’t be happier with both the quality of the work and how pr

This will probably be the first of a multiple part review as this has been one of the longest and most horrific experiences I’ve ever had with a company. I am on my third transmission failure after having them rebuild it in December 2023. It failed the day they first called me in to pick it up, it had a complete failure requiring a second rebuild 6 months later in June 2024, then a third transmission failure last month June 2026 (less than two years after the last rebuild). When I went to them, they told me it wasn’t the transmission, told me they wouldn’t cover it under warranty, and sent me on my way. Knowing I would never pay them to touch my vehicle again, I took it to a Toyota exclusive mechanic who has now confirmed it is another transmission failure. Jeff’s Transmission’s will not cover this under warranty. Stay as far away as possible. To be brief, here is the list of problems I incurred along the way: - Broken Engine Mounts - Destroyed Sway Bar End Link Bushings - Broken Heater Control Valve (they replaced with non-OEM that is already broken again) - Broken Heater Core - Several new coolant leaks - Stripped threads on transmission fluid pan (replaced by them with used p

Had a transmission rebuild completed on my Buick Regal. Mark and his team are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They showed high levels of integrity and do business the right way. I would recommend them to anyone needing transmission work.

Zero Stars! We were working in Tampa down from NC and our transmission went out. Took into these guys and they said they could fix it within a week. They did and charged me around $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. It lasted about 2 weeks and we were back in NC. I called them and they were terrible. No help at all. Weren’t willing to take any responsibility for bad work. I took it to a local shop. I asked them to look at it and call the Jeff’s to tell them what they thought. Still zero concern or help. I had to have the transmission almost completely rebuilt. Jeff’s did the bare minimum as far as replacing parts. The list is so long of what needed to be replaced. Do not use this company. I can’t stress that enough. A complete rip off.

Our car wasn’t going in Reverse and was slipping in Drive. Jeff’s came highly recommended by our regular auto shop. They did an evaluation and estimate within an hour of us bringing it in on a Monday morning. It wasn’t news we wanted to hear (full transmission replacement) however we needed to get it done. Mark was great throughout the entire process, communicating every step of the way. The job was completed within a week and the car is driving great! I highly recommend recommend Jeff’s. Very professional, friendly and clearly transmission experts!
